Post Mooncake mood

Yesterday was the highly anticipated Mooncake Festival, so I went on a mooncake-purchasing spree today because of the 50% discount benefit.

My ma got 16 of the normal (in the plastic) ones, and 2 cylindrical paper-packaged ones: from which I took a bite and became an instant fan.

4 reasons why the latter, more traditional one is better:

1) Cheaper. If calculated individually it can get to 10 times cheaper! (There are 4 in a pack)

2) Tastier. More authentic flavours

3) Easier to eat. Ever so slightly smaller

4) More eco-friendly. Paper packaging, NOT the horrid plastics

You may have to go to old shop lots to get these babies cuz most commercial places sell the former one, with all it's fancy packaging.

As you can see, the following are pictures of the traditional one. Hopefully you will support them. There are 4 normal shaped mooncakes inside.

Happy Lantern fest! Not to mention, Germany's Octoberfest as well....heh heh.
